Following flight school, I was assigned to fighter squadron flying carrier based jet aircraft. I was selected to attend the Naval Fighter Weapons School "Top Gun" and graduated in 1978. Following Activity Duty, I continued to fly in the Naval Reserves until 1990. I attended Whittier College School of Law in Los Angles, CA. Graduated 25th in my class of 175. Dean’s List 1981 and 1982.

After passing the bar examination, I was first employed by the Office of the City Solicitor, Harrisburg representing the City in labor matters and civil litigation. Following a move to Philadelphia, I was employed with a Main Line law firm representing injured clients and then by a Philadelphia insurance defense firm representing those accused of injuring people and property.

In 1986, I started my own law firm. I have focused by law practice in representing individuals and their families who have suffered fatal, serious, and catastrophic injuries because of drug reactions, the conduct of the federal government, doctor and hospital medical malpractice, poorly-made appliances, cars, tools, and toys, motor vehicle collisions, construction site and work place accidents.

We have brought claims against the drug companies American Home Products, A.H. Robbins, Pfizer, Inc. Smith-Kline-Beechem and Wyeth, against the automobile manufacturers American Motors Inc., Ford Motor Co., and Chrysler Inc.; against institutions such as Thomas Jefferson Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the State of New Jersey, for example.

Through our talent and expertise, we have represented clients in national lawsuits such as the Fen-Phen Diet Drug Litigation, Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug Litigation, Jeep Rollover and Ford Park to Reverse litigation, victims of the Jones Town Massacre, workers and their families exposed to asbestos.
